COGITO is a free, ad-free self-help smartphone app designed for emotional well-being, requiring no registration or personal data. Developed by the Neuropsychology & Psychotherapy Research Unit at UKE Hamburg, it delivers daily exercises rooted in CBT and metacognitive training to boost mood, self-esteem and life satisfaction.
Managing hundreds of therapeutic exercises in 17 languages demands a robust content system that supports rich media, enables seamless updates without app reinstalls, and ensures version control. Clinical psychologists should be able to update content effortlessly while maintaining consistency across all platforms.
We created an XML-based content management system designed to support flexible content delivery and personalized mental health resources through modular, scalable architecture. Built with technical efficiency in mind, it offers comprehensive content management for diverse user needs.
