trenddeko is a Swiss online store offering a wide range of home décor products, including wallpapers, wall art, rugs, lamps, and personalized accessories. They focus on modern and classic styles, often providing custom or made-to-order items, and aim to make shopping easy with flexible payment and delivery options.
Handling returned goods involved scanning items in various formats upon receipt, processing package labels with additional details (such as parcel type, specific format, eyelet, or long roll), quickly and accurately assigning items from different postal and shipping services to the correct orders, and ensuring efficient onward transport within the company’s internal logistics.
We developed a mobile app to streamline the processing of returned goods. The app supports automated scanning and processing of package labels, customizable input fields for additional item details (parcel type, format, eyelet, long roll), and improved assignment of returned items to the correct orders from various shipping services. It also optimizes internal logistics for efficient onward transport and includes image scanning and OCR capabilities for accurate text recognition and note handling.
